Winter activities:

Alpine skiing: The Mitterdorf ski centre (15km) with 1* chairlift and 4* T-bar lifts, toboggan run with conveyor belt and junior ski circus with 3 magic carpets is particularly suitable for beginners and families.
The Hochficht ski area in the Austrian Mühlviertel (25km) is the largest Austrian ski area outside the Alps with a modern 10-seater gondola lift, 3* chairlifts, 2* T-bar lifts and 2 magic carpets for beginners. Cross-country skiing: 67 km of trails await you in the immediate vicinity, 6.5 km of which are skating trails in an enchanting winter landscape. Together with the Dreiländereck municipalities, there are over 200 km of cross-country ski trails in all levels of difficulty.

Touring skiers, snowshoe hikers and winter hikers will also get their money's worth. Summer activities: Enjoy the wonderful hiking trails on the Dreisselberg (10km) to the Steinernes Meer and Dreiländereck, with views of bizarre rock formations. Hike the Haidel (10km) and climb the observation tower located there. There are several bathing lakes in the immediate vicinity (1km, 10km ... ) where you can relax and unwind. Cyclists also get their money's worth.
