Your accommodation is located in a small village with beautiful lakes and forests, in the immediate vicinity of the state capital Schwerin and yet in the heart of nature in the Mecklenburg lake district (nature reserve, nature park). There is only one other house on the lakeside property, which covers approx. 1500 square metres. The landlady lives there and is therefore always available for you. There are only a handful of other houses on this body of water. Peace and relaxation in this idyllic forest and lake location with great lake views are therefore guaranteed.
The quiet farmstead (1500 m²) not only has a variety of garden furniture, but also a table tennis table, two bicycles and a canoe boat for sporting activities. Barbecue fans will get their money's worth with the large barbecue and fire pit. Your four-legged friend is also very welcome here.
The holiday home has 55 m² of living space and can accommodate four people. The cosy living and dining room with lake view offers comfortable seating for four people and is a wonderful place for breakfast in the sunrise. On chilly days, the fireplace invites you to spend an evening at home. The required firewood is included and can be replenished at any time. The pull-out sofa bed can be used as a bed for children or spontaneous visitors. The living area is equipped with satellite TV, 5.1 hi-fi system, DVD player, media player (large & current selection of cinema films) and a free WiFi hotspot. The fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, coffee machine, fridge, freezer and extensive cooking utensils is ideal for self-catering. You will find everything the ambitious chef could wish for. For those who prefer to cook, there are various restaurants in the neighbourhood and one or two delivery services. In the bedroom you will find a double bed with two bedside cabinets and a clock radio. A cot can be added free of charge. Extensive baby and toddler accessories can also be provided free of charge on request. The lovingly designed and newly renovated bathroom with underfloor heating and bathtub invites you to relax.
In the village there are walking and cycling paths, the Pinnower See with 249.5 hectares and its two islands (connected by the Mühlengraben via several lakes), a bathing area with children's playground, green sunbathing lawns and a 100 metre long sandy beach, which you can reach on foot in 10 minutes. You can get freshly caught fish from the fisherman at Pinnower See. The slightly larger Pinnower See is unrivalled in terms of water quality (Schwerin drinking water abstraction area) and is beautifully nestled in a wooded valley with its islands. There are numerous bathing opportunities for a wide range of requirements, from wide flat beaches for children to nudist beaches and secluded bays on one of the islands. There are shops in the surrounding area (5 minutes by car), a bakery in Leezen (8 minutes by car) and a golf course in Gneven, which is the seventh largest golf course in Germany and is around 8 minutes away by car. In Uland there is also a gliding airfield (5 minutes by car), Basthorst Castle with spa area (10 minutes by car), Schwerin Castle (18 minutes by car), the Vorbeck riding stables (8 minutes by car), the Vorbeck canoe camp (8 minutes by car), the Archaeological Museum in Mueß (8 minutes by car), a nature trail and sequoia trees in Kritzow (10 minutes by car), a snow fun park in Wittenburg / A24 (35 minutes by car) and a water ski facility in Zachun (30 minutes by car). The Baltic Sea in Wismar is about 35 minutes away by car. The proximity to the "City of Seven Lakes", Schwerin with its fairytale castle, also offers numerous cultural activities.
