Our Sjöhest holiday home is located on Lake Altdorf in the climatic health resort of Krakow am See. In the middle of nature, on the edge of the forest with Lake Altdorf a stone's throw away. The house is located in a holiday home complex, which has been growing steadily since 2018 and offers a perfect place to relax. The complex is still under construction, which is why the house can only be reached via a construction road. The complex has its own children's playground, a beach volleyball court and its own jetty with direct access to the lake. Our holiday home has been lovingly furnished and fully equipped by us, with everything you need for a feel-good holiday.

Krakow am See is located in the heart of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, north of the large Mecklenburg lakes and is part of the Nossentiner/ Schwinzer Heide nature park. 45 minutes from Rostock and 1 hour from Schwerin, it offers a good starting point for exciting day trips. The holiday home complex is only 4 minutes by car from the centre of Krakow am See. During both the summer and winter months, the surrounding area is ideal for cycling and hiking tours. Various water sports activities are available nearby for water lovers of all ages. But that's not all: the surrounding area can also be explored on horseback. Golf can also be found in Krakow am See and invites you to enjoy some leisurely moments.

But you don't have to go far out into the surrounding area. Spend quiet and relaxing hours in our holiday home. Start the day in the Sjöhest holiday home with a delicious latte macchiato from the fully automatic coffee machine and milk frother provided, have breakfast on the terrace and let your gaze wander through the garden, past flowers and grasses. Make yourself comfortable on one of the sun loungers or the hanging chair in the garden, always with the lake in the immediate vicinity, and let your mind wander. Enjoy sauna time together in the glazed sauna on the top floor with a view of the lake and snuggle up on the corner sofa by the crackling open fire in the evening. On the upper floor, two spacious bedrooms offer ideal retreats for up to 4 people.

There is a gas barbecue on the cosy terrace, which you are welcome to use. There is also various pieces of garden furniture, sun loungers, a table and chairs.

The large garden is a paradise, especially for children and dogs.

The holiday home is located directly in the Nossentiner/ Schwinzer Heide nature reserve. Many hiking trails right by the house invite you to take beautiful walks, and various lakes can be visited in the surrounding area.
