Welcome to our new, beautiful, bright holiday home with 65 square metres of living space and an unobstructed view of nature. It stands on a lovingly landscaped, private garden plot of 830 square metres within a holiday home development. The house has a modern interior that leaves nothing to be desired. Its bay window offers the opportunity to sit outside in any weather. Enjoy the pleasant atmosphere in the spacious living area and the fully equipped kitchen. In fine weather, four terraces and a cosy spot in the garden invite you to linger. Take a look at the photos to see for yourself. Your car is parked directly at the house in its own car park. Your bicycles are protected from the weather in the lockable utility room with charging facilities for e-bikes. A photovoltaic system with storage provides environmentally friendly electricity, which is also used to heat the house.
Our rental price is an all-inclusive price and includes all additional costs (electricity, heating, water, WiFi, final cleaning), bed linen and towels can be booked with us for an additional charge.
The house is located in the climatic health resort of Vörden on the southern slope of the Hungerberg in western Weserbergland, not far from the former Benedictine abbey of Marienmünster. It offers space for three adults plus one child. We are happy to provide an additional travel cot for babies/toddlers.
Hiking and cycling trails (R1) allow you to explore the beautiful countryside. In the village centre, 1.5 km away, you will find: supermarket, doctor, pharmacy, pizzeria, snack bar, an indoor swimming pool with sauna area.
Marienmünster is situated in an important cultural landscape with many places of interest: The historic Weser town of Höxter (14 km) invites you to stroll and enjoy. Even the journey there by bike or car will take you through the unique, almost unspoilt nature of the Weserbergland and will inspire you. There you will also find the World Heritage Site of Corvey Abbey and Castle. Other attractive sights include the Fürstenberg porcelain manufactory, the Westphalian open-air museum in Detmold (the largest open-air museum in Germany), the historic centre of Detmold, Externsteine, Hermannsdenkmal, the artists' town of Schwalenberg and the Schiederstausee reservoir. Hameln, the Pied Piper town, and Bad Pyrmont with its beautiful palm garden can also be reached quickly by car.
A highlight for families is the Godelheimer See leisure centre (16 km). Here you can swim for free, relax on the sandy beach and children can explore the many play and climbing equipment, the pump track or play beach volleyball. There is only a car park fee to pay.
In Bodenwerder there is an attractive summer toboggan run with additional play facilities.
We definitely recommend a cycle tour along the Weser towards Holzminden/ Bodenwerder or Bad Karlshafen, past Herstelle Abbey and the Skywalk.

The kitchen is fully equipped with:
Induction cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, whisk, hand mixer, water filter, nothing is missing.
The large bedroom is equipped with: Double bed 1.80m x 2.00m (two mattresses 0.90m x 2.00m, large wardrobe, two bedside tables, chest of drawers, satellite TV.
The room also has enough space for a travelling cot.
The small bedroom is furnished with: Single bed 0.90m x 2.00m with the possibility of another pull-out bed, which is only suitable for children, 0.90m x 2.00m see photos, a small wardrobe see photo. So 2 children or one adult can sleep in the room. Please orientate yourself by the photos.
The bathroom is fully equipped with WC, washbasin with mirror cabinet, shower, washing machine, hairdryer.
Your jackets will find their place in the hallway with coat hooks, mirror and a small bench.
Technical room: Here you will find the condenser dryer, a clothes horse and a mobile charcoal barbecue. Your bicycles will also find a dry, lockable place here with charging facilities for your e-bikes.
In the large private garden, you can use two terraces with garden furniture, a terrace with two sun loungers, the shady area under the pavilion and the large sunbathing lawn as you wish.
A mobile charcoal barbecue, chimney starter and parasols are also available.
What else is important: The house is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

Conditions et délais de paiement
