This part of the house is located on the outskirts of Midlum - in the middle of the island, as the name suggests - directly on the marsh with its wide fields. Sheep, cows and horses are our neighbours here when they graze on them from spring onwards. The village is still mostly home to locals with their pretty houses and well-tended gardens. Our house is an ideal starting point for bicycle tours, long walks or shopping in Wyk, the largest town on our island.
We have also furnished this house with great attention to detail: the living room is divided into a cosy sitting area and a library with a large selection of books and a cosy wood-burning stove. The large dining table adjoins the fully equipped kitchen. Couples or families with children like to holiday here, as there is one bedroom with a daylight bathroom on the ground floor and the other two bedrooms with daylight bathrooms on the upper floor. The unusual floor plan is the result of the optimal layout of the listed building. You can enter the adjoining private garden through the living room, where you have a terrace with seating and your own beach chair in a manageable space. There are also two deckchairs for relaxing in the garden.
Of course you have your own small garden, fenced off from view with a fence and shrubbery, ideal for keeping out curious dogs. There is a terrace with a dining table, cosy wicker chairs and parasol as well as another with your own beach chair in a manageable space. You have your own car park with your own wallbox right outside the front door if you are travelling with an electric car.
This house is part of a historic, listed Frisian house under thatch, the like of which is hard to find anywhere else on the island. As the name suggests, the Seagull's Nest is nestled like a nest in our two other holiday homes, and all three have been awarded five stars each by the DTV for the sixth time in a row. This too is probably unique on Föhr.
Due to its exposed location, the house has an 80 metre long, private driveway that can be closed with gates. It is therefore isolated from through traffic, surrounded only by flowering gardens.
We will welcome you personally on your arrival so that you can feel at home straight away.
The house is nestled between detached houses and lovingly landscaped gardens. The surrounding area is easy to explore by bike, as there are ideal routes through fields to the other villages, the beaches and the nearest town along the marsh path in front of the property. In the next village you will find the West Coast Art Museum, very interesting not only on rainy days.

Conditions et délais de paiement
Après confirmation de la réservation, un acompte de 20 % du prix total de location doit être payé dans les dix jours. Ensuite, le deuxième paiement devra être effectué au plus tard 42 jours avant le départ. Si vous partez dans un délai de six semaines, la totalité du montant doit être payée immédiatement.
