Ce logement de vacances pour 15 personnes dispose de trois salles de bains et de cinq chambres à coucher. Le logement de vacances est équipé de un lecteur DVD et une TV (chaînes internationales). Facilities:
There are 3 floors and a basement.
In the basement (2 cellar rooms) there is a washing machine, a condenser dryer and a second guest fridge.
On the ground floor there is a living room with 3D flat screen, Blu-ray DVD home entertainment system and air conditioning; a bedroom in pastel green/white with wardrobe and men's butler; a bathroom with shower and separate WC; a spacious eat-in kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, slicer, kettle, egg boiler, coffee machine, fully automatic coffee machine (espresso machine), cereal dispenser and sufficient crockery and cutlery for the maximum occupancy. Can opener, bottle opener, etc. are also available. Dining table 320 cm long with seating for 12 and 2 highchairs for children - everything is there!!!
The upper floor is equipped with a further living/children's playroom with plasma TV, DVD player, furniture safe (combination lock), air conditioning, lots of board games and books. All the kids will particularly enjoy my Froebel play corner with lots of different wooden building blocks! There are also 3 bedrooms with double beds on this floor; a bathroom with WC and shower and another bathroom with WC, bathtub and hairdryer.
The first bedroom (my couple's themed room) - in light blue/white - is furnished with a wardrobe, a glass table with chair and a men's butler. A second bedroom - in yellow/white - contains a walk-in wardrobe, a glass table with chair and a gentleman's butler. In the third bedroom (orange/white) on the upper floor (south side) - which can be darkened - there is a double bed measuring 220 cm x 200 cm for tall guests, air conditioning, a wardrobe, a table with 2 armchairs and a gentleman's butler.
In the attic there is a children's sleeping area with 8 stackable beds (each 90 cm x 200 cm), air conditioning, 2 Velux skylights - can be darkened and 2 windows without darkening.
Outdoor area:
The property is fenced and offers 6 parking spaces.
In the garden - lavender, lavender, lavender. You are also welcome to cut bouquets and take them home - only in season, of course!
Garden furniture, deckchairs and a beer tent set for cosy barbecue evenings in the garden are available free of charge.
What would a holiday home in Thuringia be without a barbecue? So this is also available - in XXL format!
Special features:
In this "non-smoking holiday home" there are soft wooden floors - please don't forget your slippers!!!
If required, a children's cot is also available (please arrange by telephone).
Since 2020, all rooms with "south-facing windows" have air conditioning - including my attic, of course!
Mobile phone reception is guaranteed throughout the house! Free WLAN is a matter of course!
For hiking orientation, I have installed a large illuminated hiking map on the wall in the hallway on the ground floor.
Mountain bikes and children's bikes (on request). In winter 3 sledges are available.
During unfavourable weather conditions, young and more experienced guests can pass the time playing table football in the basement, so that boredom has no chance.
In the corridor of the upper floor there is a small "art gallery" of an artist friend from Dresden.
Surroundings:
In the tranquil low mountain town with all the necessary amenities, Fröbel Museum on the market square and mountain railway, there are various (hire) options in the surrounding area, such as: Bike hire, ski, snowboard or sledge hire. There are also many sports facilities, such as: Football pitch, ice skating, canoeing, mountain biking, cycling tours, rafting, tobogganing, skiing (cross-country), skiing (alpine).
The excursion possibilities are very versatile and lead among other things to: Erfurt, Weimar, Jena, Rudolstadt (approx. 1 hour's drive away), Saalfeld, Meiningen, Suhl and/or Coburg. Hike on the Rennsteig and countless other hiking trails and routes or for dinner on the Kirchberg (Fröbelturm) or the Meuselbacher Kuppe!
Visit the outdoor pool in Unterweißbach, a glass-blowing demonstration in the village (by arrangement) or skate at various reservoirs - training camps on request! In Lauscha the GOLLO is calling for bowling and delicious food, without any risk of poverty!!!
