The small holiday flat for two people in Georgenthal is located right next to the swimming pool and not far from the forest in the state-recognised resort of Georgenthal.

Parking is available, but it is also very easy to get around without a car. Guests travelling with bicycles can park them safely in the house. The town centre and the bus stop are just a few minutes' walk away.

It has a separate and fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom (hairdryer available) and a separate bedroom with TV. Bed linen and towels are provided.

There is also plenty of history, art and culture to discover. The district town of Gotha with Friedenstein Castle, the cathedral city of Erfurt or the Wartburg city of Eisenach as well as the Goethe city of Weimar are within easy reach. You can follow in the footsteps of Johann Sebastian Bach from Wechmar via Eisenach, Ohrdruf and Arnstadt. The Thuringia Greenfeeticket gives you the opportunity to play on all five Thuringian golf courses. As they are all located directly on the A4 motorway, they are all within easy reach. Experience winter with cross-country skiing on the trails on the Rennsteig near Tambach-Dietharz and Oberhof, which can also be reached by bus from Georgenthal. Alpine skiing is possible near Oberhof or on the Inselsberg. At the end of the year, Oberhof hosts the Tour de Ski and the Biathlon World Cup at the beginning of January. You can ski on snow all year round in the Oberhof ski tunnel.

With the guest card, you can travel for free on the bus and the Thuringian Forest Railway in the surrounding area. For example Oberhof, Gotha and Tabarz. Georgenthal is connected to the cycle path network. From here you can cycle to the Rennsteig or even to Erfurt or Eisenach on signposted cycle paths. There are almost 100 kilometres of signposted hiking trails for hiking and Nordic walking. The hiking destinations Wechmarer Hütte, Steigerhaus, Radebachmühle and Lohmühle with barefoot park offer culinary delights for every taste in addition to the local restaurants.
