Our house is situated at about 700 metres above sea level, on the Grasberg near Altmünster. It lies in the middle of the Attersee-Traunsee Nature Park, in an absolutely quiet location. Our house is perfect for families who want to spend a relaxing holiday together and the Grasberghaus with its large garden and various terrace areas offers plenty of space to be together and also to be able to relax on your own.
Directly from the wellness area you step out onto the pool terrace, where a cosy lounge set and sun loungers invite you to relax and the 9 m long saltwater pool invites you to take a dip. The pool can also be used with the cover, like an indoor pool, so that nothing stands in the way of bathing fun even on rainy days.For the children there is, apart from the pool, lots of fun in the large garden. Two swings, a climbing frame, a children's playhouse, bobby cars and a children's play kitchen are available for the little ones, while for older guests there is a football table and an electronic dartboard in the table tennis room next to the table tennis table.
On the 135 m² ground floor there is a spacious living room with dining area and flatscreen TV, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with two single beds, two bathrooms with shower and 2 toilets. All living areas are equipped with underfloor heating. For cosy winter days, there is a tiled stove in the living room and the south-facing terrace with a wonderful view of the mountains is accessible from the living area. A gas barbecue is available for barbecue professionals. A table and comfortable armchairs invite you to enjoy a cosy get-together. In the basement (95 m²) is the wellness area with a sauna and shower, a quiet zone with a small kitchenette, a table tennis room, a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer and a drinks fridge.
For self-catering, shopping facilities are just a few minutes away by car. In the valley in Neukirchen, Altmünster and Gmunden: Food markets, bakeries, butchers and much more. There is also a wide range of restaurants offering a variety of culinary, regional delights, such as the "Traunsee-Reinanke", a fish delicacy.a very good inn, the "Reschen Wirt", is very close by and can be reached on foot with a short walk.the Salzkammergut and the Attersee/Traunsee Nature Park with its fantastic mountain world and many lakes offer countless sporting opportunities. In the warm season: hiking, mountaineering, climbing, cycling, swimming, sailing, surfing, rowing, golf. In winter: Skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ski tours, snowshoeing ... The Salzkammergut also has plenty to offer culturally
