Typical Canarian farmhouse (1885), on a 60,000 m2 estate, located in a valley overlooking the sea with beautiful and peaceful sunsets, with a private path to the top of the Picacho de Los Lazaros; a natural setting, rich in native flora and fauna, in an environment of vineyards and traditional agriculture, 3 km from the beach.
The rural complex has several independent rural cottages, equipped with satellite TV, piped music, cleaning and laundry service. Swimming pool with hydromassage, counter-current swimming and telescopic cover for air-conditioning. Large solarium and themed garden with farm implements, children's playground with playhouse, sand terrarium with swings, sports areas (volleyball court and Petanca), gazebo with summer dining room and outdoor barbecue, multipurpose social room with barbecues, TV, video library, Wifi area, table tennis, bookshop and board games. The property is located in the middle of nature and without leaving the property you can take a one hour walk along a private path to the top of the mountain Picacho de Los Lázaros where you will find our small chapel of Santiago carved into the rock and from where you can enjoy magnificent views over the ocean and the mountains that surround the valley of Tegueste and Tejina and which form part of the Anaga mountain range, a Biosphere Reserve that has numerous routes and trails through a typical tertiary forest that today is only preserved in the Canary Islands, Azores and Madeira.
Finca El Picacho is located in the northwest region of Tenerife, 1 km from the town of Tejina and Tegueste and 8 km from Tenerife North airport, well connected to the TF-5 motorway, from where we can access the communications of the rest of the island.
The beaches of Bajamar and Punta del Hidalgo with their natural swimming pools are 3 km away and it is in this area where we can taste a good fish accompanied by our wines harvested from the numerous family wineries that are in the region.
For horse lovers there is a riding school 400 m away and 2 surf schools for those who decide to catch the waves of this coast with kayak excursions along the black volcanic sand beaches.
