Estate Dafnopanagia is located 5 km , overlooking the village of Karia in a beautiful vineyard and pine forest.The area is full of lush vegetation and natural springs. It is centrally placed in the mountains of Lefkada, half way between the West and East coast beaches. People choose the mountain villages because of the proximity to the best beaches on both sides of the island. They also enjoy the cooler air and fresh breezes during the hot months of July and August. It is also true that there are few mosquitoes at these higher altitudes.The estate constitutes of three luxury villas and three studios. Each three storey luxury villa offers a breathtaking views of Lefkada and the Ionian Islands Scorpios and Meganisy. It offers accommodation for 6-8 people and it is fully furnished. The floors, the walls in the bathrooms and kitchen are covered with marble.

Karia Karia (Karya), the mountain village just 14 km from the town of Lefkada is the second largest town on Lefkas.In the main square of Karia you will meet the stone fountain with plenty of running water.This is the famous "Square of Karia”, with the ancient trees. Here visitors can enjoy food and drink offered by the traditional caffes and taverns.Karia, a village with a rich cultural tradition has preserved many of the traditional customs of the place, culminating a three-day event, the “ representation of the traditional wedding ”, which takes place annually since 1979 and is considered one of the most important cultural events in Lefkada.This village is famous for its fine traditional hand embroidery, embroidered with the "Karsaniki stitch"which is a unique all over the world .In Karia you will find many shops with traditional hand embroidery and other souvenirs.Μajor attractions:-the church of St. Spyridon, that was built in the late 19th century.-the Monastery of Saint John the Baptist, built in 1605 AD.-folklore museum Lefkaditian embroidery "Maria Koutsochero" .
