Design villa with breathtaking views over the Golfo di Policastro and the hills of Scario This modern house consists of a main house and a guest house. The house is located in the hills of Scario, between San Giovanni a Piro and Scario. Scario "the pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea" is located in the Cilento National Park. This is one of Italy's most beautiful coastlines, which belongs to World Heritage. The town of Scario is 4 km away and is easily reached by a well-trodden road. There are cafés, restaurants, ice-cream bars and shops along the promenade and harbour, where you can imagine yourself in the St Tropez of 30 years ago. The sea and beach are 4 km away.
Private pool 10 x 5 metres with parasol and sunbeds. Terraces surround the main house and guest house. There is a covered terrace on the seafront with lounge sofas. There is also a covered terrace where the sun never comes out, so it is cool in summer too. There is a dining table, sofa and chairs for ten people. From the terraces there are breathtaking views over the sea, the mountains and the hills. The garden is rolling with olive trees, fruit trees, vines and wild flowers, including wild orchids. A stream flows along the side. The garden is 10,000 m². The surroundings exude tranquillity and there is optimum privacy.
Main house and guest house. Swimming pool 10 x 5 metres. The spacious main house consists of an 80 m² living room with modern furnishings. There is a large sofa, armchairs and a chaise lonque. Fireplace and flat-screen TV (incl. Dutch programmes). The large Italian Boffi kitchen has a cooking island, quooker, plate warmer, oven, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher. The dining area consists of a long table with eight chairs. Guest toilet, spacious hall and utility room. Upstairs is a master bedroom with a double bed and French doors opening onto the 45 m² terrace with sunbeds and parasol. You can overlook the entire bay from there. Further adjacent bathroom with bathtub, shower, washbasin and toilet. The other bedroom in the main house also has a double bed, a desk and a walk-in bathroom with double shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin. There is also a walk-in dressing room. The floor of the upper floor has olive wood parquet. Guest accommodation: The ground floor consists of a living/dining room with an Italian Boffi kitchen with oven, microwave and dishwasher. A dining table for six, sofa, two armchairs and TV also with Dutch programmes. One double bedroom with bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. The other bedroom has two single beds and a bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and washbasin. In the basement: large (games) room, shower, toilet and separate room with washing machine and dryer.
There are many places of interest in the area, such as the beautiful monastery of Padula, the excavations of Paestum, the Amalfi coast, Salerno, Sorento, Naples and Pompeii. You can take beautiful walks along the coast where Sapri's famous Amore path is located. This area is still truly authentic and undiscovered by mass tourism. In the immediate vicinity, you can take beautiful walks, rent boats and take boat trips to beaches you can't otherwise reach. The sea and the beach are 4 km away from the house. The village of Scario has a pleasant boulevard with a harbour, restaurants, bars, ice-cream parlours, a supermarket and shops.
