This stone house is fully immersed in 12 hectares private woods, overlooking the Gulf of Poets in front of Portovenere and Isle of Palmaria. Located inside the Montemarcello-Magra Regional Park where unspoiled nature offers a peaceful retreat away from the crowds and original suggestions. On the border between Liguria and Tuscany the area offers the opportunity to discover the coast, its charming towns, quaint hamlets (hamlet of Montemarcello is 3 min.drive), food and wine specialities, festivals, excursions, sea and river fishing (on the Magra river), archaeological sites (the Roman Lunae) and art cities such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca (about 1 hour by car).You can enjoy the sea, 15 minutes away, choosing between rocks, pebbles or sand beaches (Forte dei Marmi is 20 '). An array of beaches and hidden bathing spots are scattered along the coast to Lerici. The area is also a crossroads of numerous trails for every level of trekking and mountain bike so you can enjoy hiking in the wild woods and along scenic trails overlooking the gulf.

This is a restored stone house on two floors, providing around 15m² of living space. The ground floor has a living room with a dining table, as well as a sofa bed for one person. There is an open kitchen equipped with all the essentials (stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher). Stairs lead to the upper floor with a bedroom with a double sofa bed and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and bidet, Garden furniture and a BBQ are provided to eat outside in the garden.

Internet access is available at the WIFI point at the reception, about 200/300 m from the accommodation.

Outside in front of the house there is an open space with grass surrounded by typical stone walls overlooking the plane of our vegetable garden. On the side you have terraced grass plains and trees as in the typical Ligurian landscape. About 400 m from the house there is a communal use swimming pool, located in the woods with a view on the Gulf of Poets. Opening time 9.30-13.30 and 15-18(June-September). For safety reason only 5 people at the time are allowed to swim in the pool. There's also a solarium area for sunbathing and relaxing which can accommodate 8-10 people.Note: Children are allowed only with adults and they are under their supervision. No lifeguard on duty. Guests are kindly asked to follow the pool regulations submitted at their arrival. Next to Mago house there is Bruxinha house but you have your own privacy and outdoor space designed for each house. The two houses have in common only the entrance gate from the path.

Please note that Mago Stone Cottage can be reached only on foot along a gently sloping path in the woods about 5 minutes from the parking lot located inside the property.Coming from the main road you will drive a gravel road for about 200 m until you reach the main gate. Here we will be waiting for you to park inside and walk you to the stone house along a path through the woods. Don't worry we will take care of your luggage.Please note also that in the woods, at night there are no lamp posts. We suggest you to bring a torch with you.

- There are several marked hiking trails across Montemarcello-Magra Park (AVG:Alta Via del Golfo). From your house you can walk to the beautiful hamlet of Montemarcello (20 min), to the charming sea towns of Tellaro (45 min) and Lerici (90 min) along a scenic trail overlooking the gulf.- The sea is only 15 minutes away by car with the possibility to choose between rocky, pebble or sandy beaches (Forte dei Marmi is 20 minutes away)- By car you can easily reach the hamlet of Montemarcello (4 min), Ameglia (14 min), Tellaro (19 min), Lerici (20 min) and Sarzana (23 min). Cinque Terre is 30’ by train from La Spezia.- About an hour drive away you can also reach the Cinque Terre and beautiful art towns in Tuscany, such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca.For your supplies there are several supermarkets less than half an hour drive from us but in Montemarcello you there's a small grocery shop for the last minute need.

Après confirmation de la réservation, un acompte de 20 % du prix total de location doit être payé dans les dix jours. Ensuite, le deuxième paiement devra être effectué au plus tard 42 jours avant le départ. Si vous partez dans un délai de six semaines, la totalité du montant doit être payée immédiatement.
