Just 5 minutes by car from the renowned resort of Santa Maria di Leuca, we offer a luxury villa with a modern design, enclosed in stone walls and rooms with typical Salento star vaults.
The villa is located on a low hill that looks towards the western side of the southernmost stretch of the heel of Italy, offering wonderful sunsets over the sea.
Property immersed in a large fully fenced garden full of trees and ornamental plants, this exclusive residence is located in a countryside area recently converted into a semi-residential area surrounded by private homes.
Villa Ligola is spread over two levels, with two independent areas connected by external stairs and therefore ideal for both families and friends who want to maintain their own independence in using the spaces during their stay.
Externally it is characterized by the presence of an 8x4 m swimming pool and a wonderful and very comfortable 3.5x4 m hot tub on the roof, where you can enjoy the surrounding panorama.
A short distance from the villa you reach the coastal road which leads on one side towards Santa Maria di Leuca and allows you to access various rock inlets, while in the opposite direction and not far from the villa there are the wonderful sandy beaches, with numerous bathing establishments of great quality.
Villa Ligola is spread over two levels and can comfortably accommodate 8 people in its beautiful 4 bedrooms.
A large sliding French door gives access to the living room on the ground floor and houses a super-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with TV. On this floor there are two bedrooms, one double with en suite bathroom with shower and a double/twin bedroom with en-suite shower with access from the hallway outside the bedroom.
Externally there is a staircase that leads to the basement, which is spacious and bright. Here there is a second living room with a super-equipped kitchen, and two comfortable bedrooms, both with "en suite" bathroom-showers.
In the external hallway of the basement area there is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer available for guests.
Immersed in land dotted with centuries-old olive trees, Villa Ligola offers a broad view of the surrounding areas and of the sea, thanks also to its habitable terrace on the flat roof of the house.
The garden has numerous flowerbeds enriched by various ornamental plants which clearly delimit the outdoor spaces around the pool area and the gazebo.
Around the villa a paved area allows you to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces: the dining area is located in the shade of a large porch overlooking the pool, a large gazebo houses a comfortable garden lounge, a built-in barbecue is located on the side of the villa.
The house is speard out onto two independent level (GF and -1) and these are not interconnected from inside.
The external staircase leads downstairs where is another fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms, both ensuite).
On the roof terrace there is a jacuzzi pool, spacious and ideal for up to 8 people, but the wirpool tub is only located in one of the 4 corners.
As two side have low fances, it is rather better to avoid using this place to children.
This property, recently built and with a romantic sea view, is only 1 km from the coastal stretch west of Santa Maria di Leuca, mainly characterized by numerous and fascinating karst caves, which can be visited by land or by boat.
The sandy beaches are located about 8 km further north, in the locality of Pescoluse (Salve) with numerous bathing establishments and free beaches. The sandy coast continues for several kilometers touching the towns of Torre Pali, Torre San Giovanni and Gallipoli.
There are numerous coastal towns to visit: Santa Maria di Leuca which is about 3 km away, with its ancient villas from the early twentieth century and the new tourist port; the "Ciolo", about 4 km away, a charming inlet where you can swim or have lunch overlooking the sea and "Pescoluse", about 8 km away, with its beautiful sandy beaches.
The main services are located in the seaside village of Santa Maria di Leuca or in the town of Castrignano del Capo, about 3 km away.
