The accommodation rises up above the roofs of the ancient town of Otranto, amongst the traditional Salento houses. It was refurbished in 2004 by a famous Salento architect and is in a very quiet location, in a pedestrian zone on one of the narrow alleys of the old town. You can admire the surrounding landscape from one of the three roof terraces: the view stretches from the harbour to the castle and from the snake tower to the Byzantine church. On the roof terrace, swinging in the hammock whilst enjoying the sea scent and the soothing warmth of the sun, it is easy to forget time and space.

The accommodation comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, and three fully furnished terrace for relaxing or sitting together sociably. There is a barbecue in the outdoor area.

The interior of the historic and comfortable accommodation is on two floors. On the lower floor there are two bedrooms, a large bathroom, a living area and entrance area, and the kitchen. One of the two bedrooms has a double bed, with an east-facing window at its head and a large wardrobe. The other bedroom has a bunk bed and a wardrobe. In the living and entrance area and in the kitchen there are double sofa beds. On the upper floor there is a third bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. It has a single bed and a cupboard. The room on the upper floor is connected to the ground floor via a lift. The accommodation also has air conditioning and an ironing board, iron and hairdryer are provided. A washing machine and wireless internet access are available.

All the furnishings were made to measure by regional craftsmen and assembled by a local Salento architect, who values wood and stone work.

There are shops in the immediate vicinity. The sea is only about 300 metres away.
