In the picturesque locality of Marina di Mancaversa and about 10 km from Gallipoli we find 'Casa vacanze Mancaversa'. The property is located in a residential area completely immersed in a pine forest about 800 metres from the centre and the relevant beaches. Going up a few steps in the front garden, you enter directly into the large, bright living room with an equipped kitchenette. A door separating the sleeping area from the living area then leads into a hallway that separates the three bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other two with single beds, and the bathroom. From the double bedroom there is also access to a second rear garden, smaller in size but also equipped to guarantee guests moments of complete relaxation. Marina di Mancaversa is a seaside resort located in the municipality of Taviano, in the province of Lecce, along the Ionian coast of Salento. Its coastline extends for about 2 km and is mainly characterised by low rocks and small sandy coves, with crystal-clear waters ideal for activities such as snorkelling and underwater fishing. The resort offers numerous services and amenities, including restaurants, kiosks, sports facilities and playgrounds. During the summer, the municipality of Taviano organises cultural and recreational events, such as concerts, theatre shows, open-air cinema, fairs, festivals and sports events. It is ideal for those seeking a quiet holiday, immersed in nature and far from the chaos of the more crowded tourist resorts.
Worth visiting in the surroundings is the Regional Natural Park of Sant'Andrea Island and the Punta Pizzo coastline; a protected area that offers paths immersed in the Mediterranean maquis and pine forest, ideal for walking and birdwatching. The Punta Pizzo beach is particularly popular for its crystal-clear waters and fine sand. The old town of Taviano is also interesting, with its historical centre preserving churches and historical buildings, witnesses to origins dating back to the 9th century. During the summer, traditional events such as the 'Sagra tu Furese' take place. Another destination not to be missed is Gallipoli, a city rich in history, with a historical centre overlooking the sea, the Angevin Castle and numerous Baroque churches. It is also famous for its lively nightlife.
