Casa Ragusa 59 is a bright new flat located in Ragusa.
A marble staircase leads to the floor entrance, where the flat door is located.
Inside, one is greeted by a comfortable hallway that distributes the various rooms of the house. To the right is the first double bedroom, spacious and bright, with a private en suite bathroom. This room overlooks the street through a lovely little balcony, which provides natural light and a pleasant view of the street. Continuing along the hallway, there is a second double bedroom, also of generous size. This leads to the flat's main bathroom, complete with all amenities and equipped with a modern shower with hydro-massage. To the left of the hallway is the living area, consisting of a dining area with an equipped kitchen, dining table and a comfortable sofa. The kitchen is modern and functional, equipped with a practical induction hob, ideal for efficient and safe cooking. The entire flat has been recently renovated and is in excellent condition. The rooms are tastefully furnished in a modern style, offering a cosy and contemporary atmosphere.

Ragusa, located in the south of the island, is spread over two hills, where the old and the new intertwine in a fascinating way. The oldest part, Ragusa Ibla, is a labyrinth of cobbled streets, wrought-iron balconies and Baroque churches that tell the city's history. The squares, such as the Cathedral of San Giorgio, are a concentration of art and architecture, while the numerous Baroque churches, including the Church of San Giuseppe, are treasures to be discovered. On the other hand, Upper Ragusa is a modern city, with wide boulevards and elegant shops, but still with a touch of Sicilian elegance. The contrast between the upper and lower parts of the town creates a feeling of continuity between past and present. Ragusa's cuisine is another feather in its cap: fresh fish dishes, local cheeses and the ever-present Sicilian 'scacce' are just some of the delicacies that can be enjoyed. Ragusa, in short, is a city that captivates with its discreet beauty, rich history and timeless charm. From Ragusa Ibla, you can continue your visit to the Giardino Ibleo, a public park that overlooks a valley and offers a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside. This garden is perfect for a peaceful stroll among flower beds and historical monuments, such as the Temple of San Giacomo. For lovers of history and culture, a must-see is the Museo Archeologico Ibleo, which houses a vast collection of artefacts ranging from prehistoric to Roman times, offering an interesting insight into life in this area over the centuries. Another interesting visit is the Castello di Donnafugata, located just outside the city. This imposing aristocratic residence, surrounded by a vast park, is famous for its richly furnished interiors and its history linked to Sicilian nobility. If you love nature, you cannot miss a visit to the Pino d'Aleppo Nature Reserve, an area of great interest for hiking and birdwatching enthusiasts, where the mountain landscape offers breathtaking views.
