On the estate of Agriturismo I Casali there is an old stone house dating back to 1850, typical of the region, in the beautiful village of Micciano near Volterra (Pisa). We offer two quietly situated holiday flats that are ideal for family, nature and Tuscany lovers.
At I Casali you are in the heart of Tuscany and have the opportunity to overlook our olive grove and the Tuscan mountains. The property is surrounded by an incredible landscape. Our area has not been discovered by many tourists and therefore offers a relaxing holiday. Nevertheless, it is an ideal starting point to discover beautiful beaches and many historic towns. You can also explore nearby little-known towns and villages along the country road, such as Micciano, Querceto, Libbiano and Pomarance. We will be happy to help you choose your destination for the day. If you want to take it easy during the day, I Casali, with its fascinating view, is the perfect place to relax on a lounger under a tree overlooking the Tuscan hills. You can also walk along a small path to a sulphurous spring. On this path, you will pass a pond where small wild animals come to drink. With a bit of luck, you may come across a turtle along the way.
The area is popular with mountain bike enthusiasts. One of the cycle paths runs right past our property. We attach great importance to sustainability, have our own solar system, our olive oil is in the process of being certified as an organic product and we are preparing our flats for the eco-label.
The apartments are spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished with pleasant colours and materials according to Tuscan tradition. The kitchens are very well equipped with sufficient cookware, porcelain, coffee maker, large refrigerator and a modern induction cooker. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable double beds with extra-long mattresses (200 cm) and there are beautiful wardrobes with plenty of storage space. All floors are tiled and the ceilings are made of classic Tuscan "cotto" bricks and wooden beams. The bathrooms are also tiled, with shower, WC and bidet.
Flat 2 "Lo Stallone"
Two bedrooms with double beds, a living room with sofa bed (approx. 200 cm long), a kitchen, two bathrooms with shower and hairdryer. An additional single bed is available. Every room, including the bathrooms, has at least one window. There is a wireless connection to the Internet, which is available free of charge.

I Casali is located in a nature park with paths for hiking and mountain biking.
In 2010 we extended our property with a beautifully designed swimming pool from which you have an incredible view of the surrounding area. Sunbeds and chairs are available not only on the property but also by the pool. Our property is surrounded by our 9 hectare olive grove, from which we produce extra virgin olive oil. Nearby is a 5,000 hectare nature reserve. The flats were completely renovated and lovingly furnished in May 2009. Internet (W-LAN) is available in both flats.
