This idyllic retreat is located on the same latitude as Sicily, but surrounded by the fresh breeze of the northern Atlantic Ocean, which guarantees a pleasant climate all year round. Nestled in an autonomous region of Portugal, our location combines the exotic remoteness of the Azores with the convenience of EU membership, including easy access from Ponta Delgada International Airport.

Built before 1951, the interior of our typical stone house combines traditional charm with modern comfort. It is perfectly equipped for up to two people with a cosy double bedroom, an inviting living and dining area with a Swedish stove and a pull-out couch. The fully equipped kitchen impresses with Azorean natural wood and, together with the fibre-optic Internet and a bathroom with shower, offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom open up breathtaking views of the sea.

Outside, you can enjoy the beauty of the Azores from our spectacular 40 square metre panoramic terrace, which is equipped with an outdoor barbecue, patio furniture, a parasol and sun loungers. For the ultimate relaxation experience, the jacuzzi/whirlpool on the designated platform will mesmerise your senses. A lawn of around 500 square metres directly in front of the terrace extends your private area into the countryside. You can park your car conveniently in the parking spaces provided just below the house on the access road or in a parking space on a slope behind the house.
