Welcome to Saxarsviken Very beautiful location directly on the lake. You can see the lake from almost every room. It is only a few steps from the house to the water. There is only one house in the immediate neighbourhood.

Our lovingly furnished holiday home has a lot more to offer in addition to plenty of space and a wonderful lake view. The holiday home is located outside the village in a direct lake location. It is approx. 25 metres from the house to the water. From the two bedrooms and the living/dining room you have a wonderful view of the lake. The house was completely refurnished in September 2017. A fibre optic connection for internet is available and WLAN is included in the rental price. A very simple rowing boat for two adults including life jackets (compulsory in Sweden) can be used by guests free of charge (subject to availability). (Subject to availability.) You can simply row out onto the lake. Fishing boats can be hired near the house. This is a non-smoking house. Pets are not allowed. Please bring your own bed linen and towels. Final cleaning is obligatory (see rental prices). A Senseo coffee pod machine and a Nespresso espresso machine are available. Coffee pods or Nespresso capsules must be brought along as these are not available to buy in Sweden. The house has a living space of 97 square metres on one level. It has a hallway, two bedrooms, living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Four people can have a wonderful time here (no fishing groups, no youth groups). A travel cot and high chair are available for the little ones. Entrance hall The entrance area has a cloakroom and a large wardrobe as well as our "chill out area" with a rocking chair. Here you can make yourself comfortable with a book or the brochures of the surrounding area. Our holiday home is located 3 km from Gällstad, by the beautiful lake Rånnavägssjön. The lake has an area of 1.23 square kilometres. The lake is ideal for swimming and fishing. Enjoy beautiful sunsets by the lake with a glass of wine. Anglers will find mainly perch, pike and zander in the lake, and a boat especially for fishing can be hired nearby. There are also trout lakes in the neighbourhood. From the house you can go on beautiful hikes and bicycle tours. The idyllic public bathing area with sandy beach and barbecue area is just a few minutes away. In Gällstad there is an ICA food market, a pizzeria, a snack bar and an outlet centre with several clothing shops. The large lake Åsunden with the town of Ulricehamn is 15 kilometres from the house. In Ulricehamn you will find everything you need. There is a variety of restaurants and shops. A very nice place to stroll and linger with a beautiful lakeside promenade and marina. Ulricehamn also has a bowling alley, indoor swimming pool and ice rink. The next larger town is Borås (35 km), which is also worth a visit (zoo). Exactly in the other direction (50 km) is Jönköping with many shops and sights. Gothenburg airport is approx. 80 km away. The city of Gothenburg about 90 km. You should definitely visit it. There are also very nice golf courses in the neighbourhood. For winter sports enthusiasts, Ulricehamn and Hestra (Isaberg) both offer a beautiful skiing area Skiing in Ulricehamn There are 3.5 km of pistes available for skiing and snowboarding. 7 lifts transport guests. The winter sports area lies at an altitude of 168 to 303 metres. There is also a wide range of cross-country skiing. While parents test the different levels of difficulty of the pistes, children can take their first steps on skis at the ski school.
Completely new interior in 2017. Very good access road. Direct lakeside location. Internet included. Heating via electric heaters or the wood-burning stove.
